So, I'm not going to be going to Martha's Vineyard with my best friend Chad on the 20th on account of work issues and I'm a little perturbed, but not defeated. I'm considering a Cali trip instead as of now, but I'm open to suggestion.
I'm not a huge beach person, I like to get some sun and enjoy close proximity to the water and the sand, but it's not mandatory for me to have a 'summer vacay'.

As an African-American man working and living in New York City, I have been blessed to have a very diverse group of friends and colleagues. I want to honor the memory of the artists and academics who paved the way for me and others like me by using their provocative term as a banner. Under this banner I can collect and preserve the stories that define a unique experience, all while having a little fun in the process. Stay tuned.
